Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny rejected a lawsuit seeking to halt Detroit election results from being certified.
MICHIGAN — A Wayne County judge has rejected a lawsuit aiming to stop the certification of Detroit-area election results.
Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny on Friday rejected the lawsuit, which in part took issue with the city's handling of absentee ballots.
"Plaintiff's interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible," Kenny wrote in his ruling.
Kenny said that numerous affidavits from election challengers "paint a picture of sinister fraudulent activities occurring both openly in the TCF Center and under the cloak of darkness." But those claims are contradicted by highly-respected former state elections director Christopher Thomas, who spent hours at the center and presented different accounts.
"Perhaps if Plaintiff's election challenger affiants had attended the October 29, 2020, walk-through of the TCF Center ballot counting location, questions and concerns could have been answered in advance of Election Day," the judge said in his ruling.
Democratic President-Elect Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump by 146,000 votes in Michigan during the general election, according to unofficial election results. Michigan counties and the state Board of Canvassers have yet to certify the election results, however.
Friday's ruling marks the third time that a judge has declined intervening in the process to confirm election results in Michigan. Other lawsuits filed by Trump's campaign sought to stop the counting of ballots and asked for challengers to have additional access to ballot processing.
The lawsuit rejected on Friday claimed Republican challengers were removed from the TCF Center in Detroit while absentee ballots were being processed. It also claimed ballots were backdated and that signatures on ballot envelopes were not verified.
Election officials have said they allowed the maximum number of poll watchers for both political parties, with the only restrictions being put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In interviews with workers at the TCF Center in Detroit, where ballots were counted, election officials told Patch off few irregularities, instead noting only "aggressive" and uninformed challengers.
judge is supposed to sit between the two sides 8n a dispute and TRY THE EVIDENCE. This judge is literally favoring one side without trying the evidence at all.
In a nutshell, that is what this is.
“Four guys signed affidavits that they saw Joe rape Judy, and she has the bruises to prove it. But my good and trusted friend (and friend of Joe) said he was there and nothing happened, so I’m throwing it out.”
In essence, that’s the kind of decision he made.
Yep...they have to go through the judicial process.
The ruling can be appealed.

Did you hear that? Hours I tells ya- hours! Never mind that it took days to count votes- this fella determined within hours, in one polling place a presume, that no fraud could possibly have taken place-
What our side needs is proof positive that ballots were indeed backdated- which is a federal crime I believe? Then let’s see a judge say ‘Nope- no evidence of fraud not even a smidgen” with a straight face-

The court stuff is just required the boilerplate stuff to move this through the supreme court, state representative caucuses via the Constitutional process we are witnessing which has been done TWICE before.

I am also not surprised. This is an elected state court judge from Wayne County (Detroit), Michigan. There is no way that he would go against the local political establishment.
This will be appealed before it moves up the ladder to SCOTUS.
Yet more proof that some judges are integrity-free.

Little by little? The Left has been coasting to victory with virtually no pushback from the “loyal opposition” GOP. Lefties don’t do anything little. They cheat big. They win big. Our nation is about to suck in perpetuity.

Never, in a trillion, billion, million years will the Republican legislatures vote to send their own electors “in defiance of the people’s vote” (even though said vote is totally fraudulent and didn’t actually happen the way the totals say).
Anyone counting on the R Legislatures riding in on a white horse to save the day is likely to be really disappointed.
But WILL it be appealed? I haven't heard ONE PEEP from our side saying that it will be.
Color me skeptical, but we seem to be playing checkers at this point while the other side has gone full bore for blood and are taking NO prisoners while they're at it.
