Lawyers for President Donald Trump from the Porter Wright firm have withdrawn as of Friday from representing him in challenges to election results Pennsylvania.
...... Snip......
Though the lawyers legal filing claims that the withdrawal is in the best interest of the plaintiffs, the New York Times reported Friday morning that the firm suffered internal tensions over its work for Trump partly as a result of pressure from the Times own coverage:

Lawyers should not be gaslight-able.
These were pantywaists afraid of their own shadows.
I wouldn’t use a law firm with no balls.
I would expect that Bailing on Trump will hurt them more than they can imagine.
Isn’t this sort of intimidation illegal?
too bad they cant dox, scare, and cancel out people as administration who are not believers and supporters he has too many of them still in there
“New York times reporting...”
Stopped reading right there.
(1) Headline is misleading. It implies the Trump team has thrown up its hands and given up.
(2) Attorneys are walking egos. Any time you have more than one high-power, high-dollar law firm on the same side of a case, there will be ego wars, and someone will eventually pick up his/her marbles and vacate the sandbox.
(3) The departing attorneys could very well have had a conflict of interest issue arise. It happens all the time in the legal profession.
(4) Any firm that caves in to the NYT is a 5-letter word for “cat” beginning with “P”. This fight is no place for 5-letter words for “cat” beginning with “P”. If the article is true, Pres. Trump is well rid of them.
EXACTLY CORRECT.
They did not break under pressure. They did what was in their heart, or quit before they were fired.
There is not much time. This is how they will steal the election - they will threaten and harass lawyers who take his cases.
There are a lot of people who feed off the deep state, and its massive money and debt.
Why did they take the job in the first place ?
At Least 15 Billionaires Have Now Donated To The Anti-Trump Lincoln Project
Oct 14, 2020
EXCERPT
The largest billionaire contribution came from oil heir Gordon Getty, who gave $1 million to the super-PAC last month, according to committee records filed with the Federal Election Commission Wednesday.
Other new donors include Hyatt hotels heir John Pritzker (who gave $100,000), IT equipment entrepreneur Michael Krasny ($10,000), Cargill heiress Gwendolyn Sontheim Meyer ($10,000), investor Robert Ziff ($10,000) and hedge fund tycoon Joseph Edelman ($2,000). Karen Finerman, who is married to another hedge fund billionaire, Lawrence Golub, gave $5,000. Lizzie Tisch, the wife of Loews Hotels CEO Jonathan Tisch, also gave $1,000. Counting this new group of donors, at least 15 billionaires or billionaire spouses have given to the Lincoln Project this year.
Not enough. He needs high-powered law firms.
Bastards. The FBI targeted Trumps lawyers during the mueller Russia scam. They raided offices and prosecuted in made up charges. Now firms representing Trump are attacked.
Our side is denied legal representation, and they want me to turn in my guns? Go eff yourselves.
Isnt this called “obstruction of justice” ?
“Note that they DID NOT say that he doesnt have a case,”
You are quite correct. Conversely stated, it means he (Trump) does have a case, a very winnable case and these jackass attorneys want nothing to do with a Trump win.
If the case happened to be unwinnable, they be with it like stink on $hit as it would not hurt their career at all.
Turns out.
...but
Wheres self declared tough guy Jeffery Figer?
Looking a wee bit ball less Jeff.
Always knew you didnt have what it takes.
And he has them. If / when he needs more, he'll hire more.
If Lin Wood and Sydney quit, THAT'S when there's a problem. A matter like the fight for the future of our nation has no need of deadwood.
If they don’t believe in Trump’s cause then it’s best that they drop out. Let Trump find another firm that will fight for him.
Where is the feckless FEC? Where is the Justice Department?
You can intimidate lawyers to drop a case or to take a dive?
You can’t do this to a jury.
You can’t do this to a voter.
The law is a ass.
