If he loses the election, the likely outcome is Pres Trump will get a majority share in a network (OAN, Newsmax etc) in return for doing a few appearences and giving his name to the network. Alternately, he or his children may also start a brand new network — and a few Fox news anchors like Tucker, Hannity etc. will join the network. But that is unlikely given how he likes to operate. At that point Fox just reverts to being a network like CNN or MSNBC with a slight conservative bias. The current rating advantage they have will be gone. Net net, I think this article is right that Fox News will not be a powerhouse any more. They had a good run for more than a decade at the top.

A good analysis to a sad story.
It was like walking with a Tour Group through a large cemetery. “...And here lies the body of Mr. X, just over here you can observe the rapidly withering reputation of Ms. Y.”

My very elderly dad, who spends most of his time awake in a recliner (advanced heart failure) watching FOX, had them turned off & was listening to the RADIO the other day!! Now that is bad, really bad news for FOX when you lose folks like my dad, who was a total FOX-a-holic.

The minute I saw Cavuto running election night I was gone

Viewing recomendation

Absolutely no cable or satellite , there local access service charge($30) go directly to major broadcasters.

Get fiber from someone that is not you local cable company

Get an over the air antenna no matter what it takes.  OTA

If you must watch something, BOYCOTT advertisers and let
       them know.

The only streaming like cable service to use if you must is philo.

No MSM, no locals, no sports, no fox, no Disney anything
Disney owns ABC, espn, fox (last year), Hulu
       Bankrupt disney.
The BTN is basicly Fox. Sorry Big Ten, done with college sports

Use OANN and Newsmax

Demand ala cart service on internet, media won’t allow it, tell them to .....

The arrogance of big media can be summed up by the off-mike comment that host Sandra Smith made in reaction to a guest saying media doesn’t call elections. She rolled her eyes and said, “What’s happening, WE called it!”

Pride cometh before a fall.

I don’t expect any news channel to kiss Trump’s butt on everything. I don’t expect them to be critical of everything.

In is own words, Trump has said the same. He wants fair and balanced and so do we.

Fox’s primetime opinion line-up the last two years does not hide that they are generally conservative or libertarian (Tucker) in their views. They are relatively honest about it (unlike CNN with Don Lemon and Cuomo).

However, in the last two years their news division and day-time programming pretty much went all-in on the anti-Trump propaganda machine. They are not much different than CNN or MSDNC - perhaps not as openly biased, but biased nevertheless.

I am done with Fox. They deliberately lied on election night - there was no other explanation. They made calls for Biden immediately and they refused to make calls for Trump even when other outlets like the NYT, CBS, or CNN called them easily.

Fox is part of the big media lie. No amount of Tucker will change that for me. They are dishonest brokers who swim in the same insular bubble that the rest of the left-stream media occupies.

Excellent analysis. Thank you.

“Beck’s departure involved his desire to start his own internet channel.”

We need new channels, new newspapers and new universities.

Sad how Beck was unable to create a solid new channel.

I wonder if Fox News and also their commentators, are getting it from their viewers.

I don’t have Twitter so I haven’t responded. Are there other forums, such as Facebook, where one can go an give them an ear full?

Eh, here’s who you are talking about regarding Sandra smith telling some guest very disrespectfully, that fox News outranks the constitution in the case of presidential election law:

Not just some guest:
Cleta Mitchel. Former rep Oklahoma

Among other attributes:
“She has been appointed to the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Election Law and as an advisor on the American Law Institute’s Election Law Project entitled “Principles of Election Law: Dispute Resolution.”

I wonder if Fox News and also their commentators, are getting it from their viewers.

Brett Baier posted an innocuous tweet advertising his show with news-tw*t Martha McCallum. He and Fox got trashed so badly Baier removed the tweet:

“ Fox went from aces to asses in one fell swoop nothing is to big to fail.”

The facial expression on trump hating Martha whatever her name is when the ‘decision desk’ called AZ for Biden with 11% in, Will always come to mind as the end. She knew it.

Later she tried to brush off the president’s reported ‘livid’ reaction but she knew it was a point of no return.

AZ still stalling -unprecedented- it’s results more than a week later

When a company has to hire a PR firm, that means they have no idea why they are bleeding money.

The PR firm will bleed them some more.

Dumpster fire on a burning and sinking ship. See ya.
