A Trump administration appointee is refusing to sign a letter allowing President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team to formally begin its work this week, in another sign the incumbent president has not acknowledged Biden’s victory and could disrupt the transfer of power.
The administrator of the General Services Administration, the low-profile agency in charge of federal buildings, has a little-known role when a new president is elected: to sign paperwork officially turning over millions of dollars, as well as giving access to government officials, office space and equipment authorized for the taxpayer-funded transition teams of the winner.
It amounts to a formal declaration by the federal government, outside of the media, of the winner of the presidential race.
But by Sunday evening, almost 36 hours after media outlets projected Biden as the winner, GSA Administrator Emily Murphy had written no such letter. And the Trump administration, in keeping with the president’s failure to concede the election, has no immediate plans to sign one. This could lead to the first transition delay in modern history, except in 2000, when the Supreme Court decided a recount dispute between Al Gore and George W. Bush in December.
“An ascertainment has not yet been made,” Pamela Pennington, a spokeswoman for GSA, said in an email, “and its Administrator will continue to abide by, and fulfill, all requirements under the law.”
The GSA statement left experts on federal transitions to wonder when the White House expects the handoff from one administration to the next to begin — when the president has exhausted his legal avenues to fight the results, or the formal vote of the electoral college on Dec. 14? Remember: At this time neither Biden nor Trump has won a single EC vote as the EC doesn’t meet and vote until December 14, and that result is not certified until January 6.
Biden and members of the Democrat/Left/Communist Party can say and do and the media can say and publish anything they want but it’s all theater ... and they know it. They also know that when (they prefer “if”) the massive fraud they have committed is exposed, the Constitutional legal and political remedies applied, and Trump is re-elected (that is, their pronouncements and assurances of the Left’s “victory” is reversed), their base will go completely insane having been kept ignorant of the facts and all that is going on by the GOP to preserve what remains of America’s election process. Although it will be completely their fault for placing America and Americans in deadly peril, the Democrat/Left/Communist Party leaders just don’t care ... they truly just don’t give damn. The only thing the leadership will rue is that, yet again, Trump has beaten them into the ground ... and that, my FRiends, will be a beautiful thing to behold.
The only way Trump would lose is if the massive amount of fraud and cheating and the felonious actions of the American Left are not provable ... or if the legislators, despite clear evidence of the Left’s fraud and crimes, fail to perform their duty and fail to follow their oath out of fear of the Left’s propensity to riot and destroy.

Actually all works in Trump’s favor...
The certification of state delegates has until December 8th to settle dusputes. 6 days before EC votes are cast at their state capitals on December 14. Then the certification is transmitted to congress by December 23.
Trump and litigation can tie up the challenged state certification and run out the clock by December 8. When that happens, then the EC vote has no ability to get the 270 majority, so it goes into a contingency vote that gives each state legislature 1 EC vote.
Whichever candidate receives a majority of 50 votes cast by each state legislature is the president-elect.
Republicans control 29 of the 50 state legislatures.
Do the math.
This is exactly what is frustrating the Dems because they know if they can’t get their delegates dusputes settled/unchallenged and certified by December 8... the Republican legislatures will elect the Trump.
If Trump refuses to concede, he wins.
Well CBS has certified a winner so why wait ?

Trump should get Mitch’s cooperation in calling a timely recess. Then he can fire the useless Wray and Haspel, and recess-appoint some real MAGA types.

AFTER the Electoral College count is when (IF!) any transition funds are released. Not one millisecond before.
They did the same thing to Bush in 2000 and they have held up Trump Appointees throughout his Administration. F’em..

Media bias is often packed in just one loaded word that is easily overlooked but still sends a powerful message.
