Fox News host Laura Ingraham has a message for President Donald Trump: If you lose the election, you should accept defeat with "grace and composure."
Following Joe Biden's speech Friday night, Ingraham appeared to prepare her viewers for Mr. Trump's loss and give counsel directly to the president himself. In a shift in messaging, the longtime supporter and early endorser of the president advised him to focus on the future of the country, not the potential defeat.

I read an article that a think tank ran a “war game” on exactly this scenario. It went through the courts and at the end the Constitution prevailed.

And frankly, my assessment is that the President's chances of prevailing are growing slimmer. He needs allies--and they seem scant right now. If the courts provide no remedy, then it falls to the state legislatures. And if they punk out, maybe he can get it to the House. But if those avenues fail, then what? Surely you don't think that his Secret Service bodyguards will remain at his side if the House certifies Comrade Biden's election.

There needs to be clear thinking about the chances of prevailing in that event.
I have been contemplating designing a war game about a Second American Civil War for several years now. And the loyalty of the American Armed Forces is one of the key variables--as well as the disposition of the National Guard.
If the bulk of the Armed Forces are loyal to the new regime, then armed insurrection cannot succeed in the short run unless several state governments are supportive of the counter-coup. And a failed counter-coup will provide political cover for the Hard Left to engage in political repression without a peep from squishy moderates. Remember, the bulk of the sheeple have not protested against the medical martial law of the past 7 months.
A lot of Freepers talk a good game. As an infantry officer and historian, I want a sober analysis of the chances of victory. And I don't see the popular support for an armed counter-coup at this point in time.

That's true what you say about her implication of her statement is Trump is a brute who would have to be escorted out of the White House kicking and screaming when she started her sentence (assuming these were really her words and not paraphrased by cBS) when she started the sentence with "Trump needs..."
