On or before January 6th 2021 when the CONgress counts the electoral votes, one CONgress critter and one SINator could sign an objection to the votes and really toss a turd in the frying pan. Likelyhood? Pretty close to zero due to lack of testicular fortitude in either house.
The GOP is generally worthless unless it has a strong leader (Reagan, Gingrich, Trump) to whip it into line.

Republicans historically have not believed Democrats to be their enemies. They think they are friends. In a way they’re like some black man thinking not all Klansmen are bad because he knows some “nice” ones.
Meanwhile to the Democrats the seriousness of the charges alone are enough for others while no charge is serious enough if it is them.

Pence isn't in the legislative branch, and I don't think it's within his capability in his position presiding over the Senate until January 20.
