Chicago rapper King Von has been shot dead during a gun battle in an Atlanta hookah lounge that left three dead and three wounded.

Dayvon Daquan Bennett, known professionally as King Von, was among those killed in the furious shootout at around 4am on Friday at the Monaco Hooka Lounge in downtown Atlanta, police confirmed.

Investigators said that it was not immediately clear whether the fatal shots were fired by uniformed police, one on-duty and on off-duty working as security, or the rival groups involved in the shootout.
