That's been the problem for decades! Too many politicians have gotten away with murder and been let free to walk.

Stephan Molyneux thinks that it started with Ted Kennedy. There's a video on YouTube that has a five minute monologue by Rush Limbaugh followed by Stephan. The video is an hour long, and I cannot recommend it enough. The last half hour especially!

If you get some time, give it a listen.

Nope, Ted K didn’t start a thing. Lyndon Johnson managed to get 200 last minute votes for hus senate race in 1948, some dead, some out of the county at the time of the election, all signed in the same blue ink and handwriting. His campaign manager John Connaly (later texas governor?) went to get them and was at the recount.

I’ve read that the same happened in 1960 when JFK was elected, and Nixon didn’t contest it, deciding to be a nice guy instead. His father (joe kennedy) did arrange a meeting with the chicago mafia boss, and illinois unions all voted for jfk. Nobody knows how much money changed hands. Unions were still mafia run in the mid 90’s when I researched it.

Chicago was really dirty for a long time. Their mayor daley was one rotten critter...
