Fox News Circles The Wagons and Fails – Guy Benson Accidentally Exposes Scheme: Contracted Fox News Pollster is also Fox News Decision Desk Narrator…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | November 4, 2020 | Sundance

Fox News is currently engaged in full damage control after they exposed themselves with manipulative election coverage and destroyed their credibility in the most brutal fashion imaginable. That said, CTH has written about the Fox Agenda for years, but even we didn’t know the details of the scheme construct until this tweet from Guy Benson:

Setting aside that Benson spelled Daron Shaw’s name wrong; and reminding yourself that Guy Benson is a paid Fox News contributor; what he has outlined in that tweet is actually quite remarkable. The pollster paid by Fox News to predict election outcomes, is a key part of the crew that calls the results on election night. Think about that.

Think about the conflict, the purposeful and brutally obvious conflict, that would exist in using the same person to predict elections and then report on the results of that election.

Obviously a person performing both tasks, predicting & reporting on outcomes, is going to have a self-interest in affirming their predictions; after all, that’s how they are paid.

In addition to OAN, I like America’s Voice, Newsmax, CBN News, and even Infowars. For daily short shows, Hagmann Report and TruNews aren’t bad.

Tucker! Please let us know with which network you land. We will follow you to the new network. And take Jesse and Gottfeld with you!

I detest FoxNews, too.

Normally at this time I would be faithfully watching Tucker, Sean and Laura. No more. As much as I will miss watching their shows I am absolutely done with Fox. In fact I have the wife looking into removing Fox from our direct TV package.

I will watch OANN or NewsMax here and there but after many many years I'm done with FoxNews.

If President Trump loses this challenge I sincerely hope FoxNews is the very first casualty of the socialist agenda they helped usher in. Socialists don't need to be fair and balanced so the services of FoxNews will no longer be needed.

“Watching OANN election night was a breath of fresh air.”

Same here with Newsmax (I don’t get OANN). It was an enormous improvement over Fox.

If you get Fox, you get News Max TV (NEWSX) and probably also Real America’s Voice Channel (AMVO). Look for them on your provider’s channel list. Both also have free online streaming.

I’m supposed to be outraged over this? LOL. Why would a guy who’s supposedly good enough to do polls not also be hired to work on the decision desk? Pretty similar skill sets.

Some people like the networks “calling the races” means deciding who the winner is. Obviously it isn’t the same thing. If the guy’s polls were wrong and he also called the race wrong, he would have made two errors, and be even more likely to be fired. The “calls” don’t mean anything once the final count is done. If the calls are wrong, he’s in trouble. In no way does calling a race wrong to match his wrong prediction in the polls help him in the slightest. It doubly hurts his reputation.

The point was that the people who were being paid to poll who would win the election, were put on the team to announce who had actually won the election.

An obvious conflict of interest, in several ways.

I saw when the guy came out and seemed to strongly insinuate that unlike other states, Biden’s call for his voters to vote as early as possible fell on deaf ears in Arizona Democrats, that the same-day voting patterns would show little difference between Early Voters and Same Day voters.

Crazy.

Why aren’t any of the ass-hat FOX News Contributors who are radio hosts and podcasters questioning FOX News’ call on Arizona for Biden and the near embargo of the Florida victory for Trump, as well as these shady reporting delays?

My post made it clear that I understood the point. My whole post was arguing why that isn’t a conflict of interest at all.

There is ZERO interest on anyone’s part for “calling” a race wrong after the election. ZERO. A wrong call does not help anyone anywhere. It only hurts the people who make the wrong call.

It’s obviously in their interest, to help make sure they prediction (poll) they were paid to provide, was accurate. It was also in the interest of their employer, FOX News.

It has nothing to do with calling the election wrong. We still don’t even know if it was or will be the wrong call, so not sure why you are even bringing that up, as it’s N/A at this moment.

The point is they were already on record on what was supposed to happen, and they were paid for that, and their reputations for polling were at stake. Being on the team that got to announce who won states, and when, gave them a chance to help make sure what they were paid to predict DID happen. And their questionable call has potentially done just that, ALREADY.

You mean (Brett Beir, Sic) Bret Baier who openly said (During a FOX-Snooser) that he's proud of his friendship with "Wolf Blitzer," from CNN (Cheating News Network.)

When you wallow in the pig $h!t, it's no surprise you smell like one.

More proof, the FOX people are more concerned with what parties they get invited to, rather than standup for the truth.

Thank You Former Loser vice-president candidate Paul Ryan. A very well known, anti-Trumper.

The one who has a WALL around his house, but doesn't want a Southern Border Wall.
