Purple Texas Narrative Completely Collapses as Dems Get Shellacked in House Races
Western Journal ^ | November 4, 2020 | Cameron Arcand

Republicans have maintained their hold in Texas despite several competitive races for the House of Representatives.

In a statement, Texas Republican Party Chairman Allen West saluted the party activists, candidates and organization that made Tuesday night’s victories possible.

“A huge thank you to the amazing @TexasGOP staff and our whole team of volunteers; exceptional candidates; and tireless and dedicated advocates who refused to let our Lone Star State go the way of the radical progressive socialist left!” West wrote in a Twitter post.

Republicans maintaining their strength in Texas is bad news for Democrats, who have been increasingly putting efforts into capturing the state.

“After promising gains in 2018, Texas Democrats had support from national leadership, well-funded candidates, and grassroots enthusiasm. They also had what they thought to be a clear pathway to power centered on the state’s purpling suburbs. And there was sky-high turnout in early voting, including millions of new voters that the party has long insisted would turn the tides in Texas,” Justin Miller of the Texas Observer wrote.

It didn’t this year. As Miller wrote, Texas Democrats failed to oust a single Republican member of Congress.

The trend is not our friend. And it ain’t all south-of-the-border types.

You only have two years to convince those new Texas Democrats to change their voting habits before they screw up one of the best states in this country. Arizona used to be one too but we have been infested with liberals fleeing California.

I am all for secession. Look at the South and Central States and how they voted this election. We are two separate countries two separate peoples, it is time for a divorce. Four countries. NE Republic, South Central Republic, Great Lakes Republic and Peoples Republic of the West. Lets do it!

Sure, but the state will need to stop taking in jobs from California and the like. I saw the TV commercials back in California during the 2012-2018 timeframe from Texas pleading with companies to move to Texas. Texas has no one to blame but themselves. That, in combination with the illegals and the decades-long nationwide education push that’s been brainwashing children, it seems inevitable that Texas will go blue no later than 2028.

The west is a way bigger threat to you than the south. I would think about going to Texas but being from California I would be rightly despised.

South Central Republic should be Allied States of America. NE Republic should be New England. Great Lakes Republic would work. Peoples Republic of the West should be split into Cascadia, California Republic and Atlazan.

1h ago: Tweet” Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA
Republicans are exceeding expectations and picking up House seats

Republicans didn’t lose control of a single state legislature

Republicans have fended off nearly every Senate challenger

Republicans swept down ballot

Are we really supposed to believe Trump UNDER-performed??

I remember an ad that was posted on FR and FB that featured Dan Crenshaw and 4 other people running for Congress that everyone loved. I know Crenshaw was re-elected, but what about the others? How’d they do?

These Republicans better not distance from Trump, assuming Trump isn’t re-elected, because Trump will be The Resistance, and will be fighting to get back in 2024, hopefully after seeing the cluster-fuck that replaced him.
