President Donald Trump’s campaign said Monday that, according to data shared by former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign, the president was within one state of winning the election.
On a conference call with reporters, Director of Battleground Strategy Nick Trainer referred to a Zoom call published by Biden’s campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon discussing the current state of the race ahead of Election Day.

Is it bad news if President Trump is one state short of 270 but only has to win one of 4-5 tossup states? Remember these statements are based on their data which is likely skewed towards Biden (although not as badly as the MSM polls).

I think that is the intention - the Democrat elites have known all along they can’t win - they are purposely raising the hopes of low-info Democrats in order to create outrage.
They are using fake polls and fake news to pour gasoline on the fire.
They want their own dumb voters to be shocked and outraged when Trump wins - the best way is to top them into think the Biden will win.

During the primaries Gov Wolf pulled a COVID excuse and extended the deadlines for - you guessed it - heavy Dem counties around Philly, Erie, Harrisburg, etc.
This message should be causing Democrat hand-wringing, not hand-wringing among the Trump supporters. If a report came out (with some credibility) that the Trump campaign has said that Biden was one state from winning, then hand-wringing on our side would be called for.

Prescient comment. That may be the plan as our Great President may have already made a few strategic plans for November 4th.
Does this mean—according to their math—President Trump has won all the states he needs to except one already? And that one is Penn?

I am reading this as if the Biden campaign knows (thinks) that their Blue Wall will hold this time (MN, WI, MI, and PA) but that they’re scared that Trump will peel one of them away and win the election (assuming Trump retains his other states from 2016 less three of the Blue Wall states). Just my two cents....
Eh... still not liking the statement.
The meaning of this is that Biden already has it in the bag. Anything Biden gains is just gravy.
