Can the Right Win a 2020 Election “Street Fight”?
The American Mind ^ | 11/02/20 | Kyle Shideler

Posted on 11/02/2020 9:02:57 AM PST by PoliticallyShort

The Democratic Party’s leading members have repeatedly and unapologetically supported sustained sieges of courthouses and police precincts for months on end by their anarcho-marxist shock troops. Their donors and backers have contributed millions to a movement led by “trained Marxists” at whose instruction the most damaging riots in American history have been perpetrated. The Left cannot reject their foot soldiers. Even if they desired to do so, which they do not, it is exactly these forces who will fill the streets in their proposed “Color Revolution” to unseat the president, should Trump indeed appear to be the election winner in the twilight hours of November 3rd.

Their street-level lieutenants are openly calling for “Civil Resistance” when being polite, or “Disruption” when less so. The goal is simple. Fill the streets with people targeting the appropriate centers of power, with one message: if you want normalcy restored, Trump must go. The Left is capable of accomplishing this task because they are old pros when it comes to revolutionary politics. They never abandoned rough-and-tumble street politics—partly for ideological reasons, partly for practical ones. Leftists have always had a soft spot for true revolutionaries and made room for them in their ranks. Their alliance with labor unions meant old-fashioned lessons of radical organizing never went entirely out of fashion. Their control over academia made the study and practice of protest organizing a respectable field, and its adoption and monetization by the elite NGO class made it lucrative, as globe-trotting “advisors” did very well teaching foreigners how to “non-violently” overthrow opposition governments.

Of the 400,000,000 arms in America, how many has the left?

I don't know what they have, but I do know they have a goal, they have paramilitary training and organization, and they have means, motive, and opportunity to reach it.

If the military decides to protect them, armed patriots acting as individuals or in small leaderless groups haven't got a chance.

I suspect the answer is fewer than a million, well under 1%.

Plus, many of us are actual hunters. We cammo. We stalk. We post up. We are silent. We kill what we shoot at the first time.

Imagine how that plays out.

I like our odds, should the other side unwisely start a civil war.

No offense, but I imagine if it plays out with Delta Force on your ass, your posting career will be over.

And how many dozens of them will be following orders from on high versus our tens of millions of independents?

We know who leads the left and where they sleep in every town. The few in the army who choose to follow leftist leaders won’t have family to go home to.

Civil Wars are awfully bloody affairs. An Army without cohesion won’t defeat their fathers, brothers and uncles who outnumber them more than 100 : 1. Who really wants to follow Schumer into battle?

The danger is that they will follow the generals who have been promoting trans-soldiers, gays in the military, female empowerment and the protection of diversity at all costs.

When the President called on the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to accompany him through the riot-torn streets of DC to a burned historic church, the Chairman elected "not to take sides".

I hate to break it to you, but the leaders of the other side in the war you are looking forward to are not Schumer and Pelosi.

They are Mattis, McMaster, Milley, Berger, Gilday, and many of their disciples.

Convince me they are on our side - you can't.

I don’t fire WARNING SHOTS, it’s a waste of good ammunition.

If it comes to the point that I have to fire my weapon, the object of that discharge is going to be destroyed!

You might be right, you might be wrong.

In 1864 the 61st Illinois Infantry Regiment was away from home in Murfreesboro Tennessee chasing Confederate Calvary.

The fact that the Illinois Legislature (mostly democrats) had never signed into law a rule to allow their Illinois citizens to vote absentee meant that Regiment couldn’t cast a vote for President that year.

1864 was not a very food year for the Republican Party because most of their voters were in uniform and away from home.

Once again the Democrats tried to suppress the military vote because the knew which way it would go.

Back to the 61st Infantry Regiment: The officers of the 61st thought it would be a good idea to have a mock election for their troopers, as they couldn’t vote in the real election.

The officers of the 61st were mostly Democrats and their choice of candidate was McClelland, who was fired by Lincoln in 1862 because all he did was sit on his ass outside DC and whine about not having enough of everything.

The officers of the 61st Infantry regiment were pretty sure their regular soldiers and non-coms would vote their way, as they (the officers) saw McClelland as a great leader and he was a Democrat.

Well; the Honorable Mr. Abraham Lincoln won that little mock election much to the surprise of the officers.

The point is; Enlisted Personnel are not stupid, nor do they follow orders blindly.

I was an enlisted Marine for 5 years and I knew how to tell the good guys from the bad guys.

I would not ever follow what I believed to be an UNLAWFUL ORDER (after the action, we can let a court decide), and being told to fire upon men and women trying to defend their homes is in my opinion an UNLAWFUL ORDER.

I’m sure some in the Pantyfa/BM cadre will make sudden rearrangements to their philosophies if several of their ‘fellow travelers’ next to them have their heads suddenly disappear in a pink mist.

And they have no idea where it came from.

I don’t think people appreciate what a few TENS OF MILLIONS OF SKILLED HUNTERS means.

They’re not going to issue orders “go overthrow the government”.
