Squirrels are tough. If they got to 10 pounds, the woods would be a terrifying place.
The squirrels in my yard have cleaned up _every_ fallen pine cone. Any they missed, the turkeys got. Little b’tards! I wanted those for a friend who makes wreaths!
Next year, I’ll get them early!
