The Florida Emerson College poll was conducted October 29-30, 2020. The sample consisted of likely Democratic, Republican, and Independent voters, n=849, with a Credibility Interval (CI) similar to a poll’s margin of error (MOE) of +/-3.3% percentage points. The data sets were weighted by gender, age, education, party affiliation, race and region based on 2016 voter turnout modeling. It is important to remember that subsets based on gender, age, party breakdown, ethnicity, and region carry with them higher margins of error, as the sample size is reduced. Data was collected using an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system of landlines (n=551), SMS-to-web texts (n=129), and an online panel provided by MTurk (n=169).

I see nothing in here regarding the hispanic or black vote in Florida ? Also you will see Emerson admits that their subsets i.e. party breakdown “ carry with them higher margins of error as the sample size is reduced”. Translated we have absolutely no idea how many are R/D/I were sampled.

Please see the sidebar on that page for detailed crosstabs.

Also you will see Emerson admits that their subsets i.e. party breakdown “ carry with them higher margins of error as the sample size is reduced”.

Always the case in all polls for sampled subsets rather than total population sample.

Given that the President is elected through the Electoral College, made up of electors from individual states, how are these national polls constructed to represent the EC? If they in fact are, what does a "national lead?" mean?

You have to go looking for them. Found them. The numbers are 51% IVR responses and 33% text responders.

This is so far from accurate it’s not even funny.
