My wife got a call last week from a pollster. She said I don’t talk to strangers and hung up.
Nobody I know is willing to tell strangers that they are Trump supporters. Keep it quiet and then......BOOM!!!!!!

I read some story about how pollsters are NOT truly able to obtain accurate polling information due to what you just described. Let’s also not forgot, most of these polls use “likely voters” not registered voters, and most usually way over sample Dems!
I’ll also wager, these pollsters are NOT talking with Blacks and others “walking away” from the Democrat Party! Most of this polling is utterly useless!

Someone wrote on a tread yesterday that this election may prove to be the last one where polls are taken seriously.
I think that may be true, at least for several election cycles.
I believe these polls are being used to counter the amazing rallies the President is having. They’re going all in and if they are wrong....they don’t care. Trump’s rallies are bigger than every...therefore, we must create a bigger gap in polling data.
MOE is 3.3, so not worth worrying that much about it.

Biden leads Hispanics more than 2-1 over Trump (better than Hillary), and blacks about 9-1, per Emerson internals.
Emerson is doing the same thing this presidential election that they did last presidential election when they had all the battlegrounds wrong. Why does anyone pay them when they did nothing to correct their methodology after the first epic fail. Much like deciding lifting off on a Challenger shuttle using the same O ring that caused it to crash and burn on its maiden flight.
