Fauci is undoubtedly Civil Service. You need to be an ax murderer in order to get fired from a Civil Service job. It can be done, but is a long drawn out process. Even a lot of higher up positions have Civil Service rankings. I know.
My now deceased relative was an economics expert and Consul stationed all over the world in U.S. Embassies and he too had a Civil Service ranking through the State Dept. So don’t hold your breath that Fauci will be outright fired. But he can be kicked off by Trump from the Coronavirus task force, along with Birx, a twofer. And relegated to a desk job in a closet in the State Dept.
Of course he’ll probably be offered a multi-bucks job on MSNBC or CNN so he can constantly snipe some more at Trump during Trump’s second term.
I want to see every last traitor that has backstabbed, been derelict in their duty in obeying the Presidents orders to be fired and sanctions put on them of some kind. And the sooner the better!!! Then on to getting the seats of corruption and power spread across the country and no longer concentrated in that cesspool of WDC!!! God Bless America!!!

After 4 years most of Obama’s flag officers and senior O-6 level officers would have to retire anyway. You have to be promoted to stay in. Now some will, of course. The services will “protect their own” to a certain extent. But there isn’t anybody going to make a senior 3 or 4-star slot without Trump’s say-so.

Keep Pompeo, DeVos, Perdue... put Ben Carson into a higher profile position. Dump Barr, Wray, Chao (what has she even done?). Offer a Cabinet role to Tim Scott and whoever loses the other GOP Senate seat in GA.
