This AM I just saw a story that said the Secret Service called the number at 57,000.
That is the largest this cycle and not counting the Modi of India rally, maybe his largest ever.
I, too, live about 10 miles from Reading (near Oley) and you’re right about more Biden signs but a majority of those signs are along the roads and between highways, not on people’s lawns. I noticed a few house around here have taken down their Biden sign and one even replaced their sign with a Trump sign.
There is a concept in statistics called backtesting, where you see how your model performed in prior periods. If the model is "big crowds = election success" then it fails the back test given Romney's Bucks County crowd. Romney lost PA by a margin of 5.5%.
That said, Willard was a lame candidate who, akin to Biden, is liked because he isn't the other guy. Romney looks like one of the Deltas from Animal House, while Trump is more like Bluto (even though he doesn't drink). There is a lotta love for Trump.
