Rioters in Washington, D.C., injured 14 police officers in the chaos that ensued during the city’s second night of protests over the death of Karon Hylton. The injuries include one officer losing eyesight after being targeted with a laser.
DC Metropolitan Police Chief Peter Newsham told reporters on Thursday that 14 of his officers sustained injuries during overnight protests, according to a tweet from Associated Press reporter Mike Balsamo. The injures included eight officers being struck by incendiary devices, one eye injury from a laser, four struck by rocks or bricks, and one sprained ankle, the chief stated.

Commercial lasers pointed at LEOs should be considered deadly weapons. Anyone attempting this should be shot on sight. I believe that after one or two dead laser operators are removed from protest locations this practice will quickly cease.
I pray to God our country has enough moral fiber and cultural confidence to restore law and order to our cities. This will probably require the arrest and prosecution of numerous Democrat mayors, governors and other elected officials.
If nothing else, possession of those lasers at a protest should be subject to arrest.

Any use of a laser against law enforcement during a riot should result in a mandatory life sentence and possession of such a laser on the part of a rioter should result in a mandatory 10 year sentence in prison.
Enough is enough. If the local or state governments will not support law enforcement and give the police the support to end a riot and/or control it, the police should simply refuse to do it. Why do we put them there as a target when politicians take away their ability to respond and react? What is the point?

Throwing items at the officers should be met with the officers sending lead pellets to the offending terrorists.

Well it’s so common now that I’m not surprised we missed it. And NOT watching any msm garbage plays into that too.
Their tactic requires an elevated platform for the police snipers to see the throwers. These terrorists are trained and the throwers are usually fronted by two or three deep shouters and sign wavers.

I hope Trump has the National Guard and Homeland Security strategically positioned close to the White House, armed to the teeth and ready to go at a moment’s notice on November 3.
Wouldn’t put it past the BLM/ANTIFA terrorists to try and storm the White House.
