CHICAGO, IL Two sisters are charged with attempted murder after police allege they attacked a store employee and one sister stabbed him 27 times after they were asked to wear a mask, Chicago police said. The 32-year-old store worker was in critical condition following the Sunday attack.
Police said the two sisters entered a small West Side store in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt Road around 6 p.m. Sunday and were greeted by an employee, who asked them to put on a mask and use hand sanitizer, according to Sun-Times Media Wire.
Police said surveillance footage showed Jessica Hill, 21, pull out a knife and Jayla Hill, 18, hold the man by the hair while her sister stabbed him in the chest and body, WTTW reported. Police said the sisters continued kicking the man as he fell to the ground, despite footage showing that he did not provoke them and never struck or pushed the two women.
The employee is a store security guard, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Cook County Judge Mary Catherine Marubio denied bond for the two sisters on Tuesday
There is a Mr. Alan shoe store (according to google Street View) at 3258 W. Grenshaw
[or a J Bee’s according to Google Maps]
Damn, you are good! I was thinking Sisters of Mercy.
/S on last sentence, if(?) needed.
Great and Irish to boot! Who knew, who would have guessed?
Possibly true, if it actually had anything at all to do with a 'security request'. Mobile petri dishes have nothing to do with 'security'.
Neither do shirts or shoes, but it is STILL the stores choice to let you in or not.
There you are wrong. In many places the mask crap is a government 'mandate'. The owners of the business have no say. There is a big difference between that, and a place that will not serve you unless you're wearing a tie and jacket.
