Hypothetical: In the event that the Democrats take the senate and there’s another USSC vacancy... Is the president obligated to make an appointment? IOW’s Chuck Schumer and the Democrats can’t fill the seat without an appointment on which to act, right?
Realistically, if Trump’s margin in PA were over 50K then the Philly vote fraud machine couldn’t manufacture enough votes — not that they won’t try. But the secondary reason for the long count is to force Trump to go to the federal courts to stop the counting. The Left will point to that and — like Bush V Gore — they will say that Trump was “selected not elected”. It will all come down to denying Trump the legitimacy that he needs to govern in his 2nd term.

The .270 will shoot farther and flatter with more energy than the .308 (in the same bullet weight) because it has a smaller cross sectional area.
They won’t be able to deny his legitimacy when he wins with well over 300 electoral votes and even Gallop has said he might well win the popular vote.
It gets tougher for them to do it, but never underestimate the Media's ability to twist the 'facts' and bury the Truth. After all we just watched a 2 year effort of the Media flogging the Russia Conspiracy Theory and it lead to an impeachment.

Only problem is, as returns come in on election night from the rural counties, the big metro areas will be watching to learn how many votes they must produce to win.
