In Wednesdays Senate hearing on Big Tech and Section 230, both Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that neither had any evidence that the New York Posts reporting on Joe Bidens knowledge of his son Hunter Bidens foreign business deals is Russian disinformation.
For both Mr. Zuckerberg and Dorsey who censored the New York Post stories or throttle them back, do you have any evidence that the New York Post story is part of Russian disinformation or that those emails are not authentic? Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin asked. Do you have any information whatsoever they are not authentic or they are Russian disinformation?
Dorsey and Zuckerberg both denied receiving any indication that the story was part of a Russian misinformation campaign.
Within days of the storys censorship, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe explicitly debunked the disinformation claims made by Rep. Adam Schiff, when he reported the intelligence community has no evidence that the bombshell story was a foreign attempt to spread misinformation and interfere in the U.S. election.
Let me be clear, he said on Fox News, The intelligence community doesnt believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that.
We have shared no intelligence with Chairman Schiff, or any other member of Congress that Hunter Bidens laptop is part of some Russian disinformation campaign, Ratcliffe clarified. Its simply not true.
So why would you censor it? Johnson asked. Why would you prevent that from being disseminated on your platform that is supposed to be for the free expression of ideas and particularly true ideas.
Dorsey echoed his previous claims that the article violated Twitter policy, despite being slammed by Sen. Ted Cruz earlier in the hearing over the same matter.
We judged it by our hacking policy, Dorsey replied. It looked like it was hacked material. And we updated our policy and our enforcement within 24 hours.
They werent hacked. Mr. Dorsey, Johnson replied. You are wrong.
Zuckerberg also attempted to defend Facebooks censorship of the Hunter Biden bombshell story, claiming that Facebook relied heavily on the FBIs intelligence to alert us and through their public testimony and private.
Did the FBI contact you and say the New York Post story was false? Johnson asked.
Not about that story specifically, Zuckerberg replied.
When Johnson asked why Facebook chose to move forward in limiting the articles distribution, Zuckerberg claimed that it was because of heightened alert surrounding election interference by the Russians that they began to prevent the article from being widely shared.
They alerted us to be on heightened alert around the risk of a hack and leak operation, Zuckerberg said. To be clear on this, we didnt censor the content. We flagged it for fact-checkers to review and pending that review, we temporarily constrained the distribution to make sure it didnt spread wildly while it was being reviewed.
Incorrigible leftist liars. They must be broken up.
Never mind Jack Dorseys ridiculous beard. Did you see his eyes? Tiny pinpricks. What drug is that?

29 Oct: Daily Mail: ‘Who the hell elected YOU?’ Ted Cruz tears into Twitter’s Jack Dorsey for STILL censoring tweets about Hunter Biden’s emails as Republicans slam him, Facebook and Google for ‘bias’ - and he admits ‘conservatives have lost trust in us’
The hearing comes as social media sites blocked a New York Post article revealing details of Hunter Biden’s hard drive, prompting fury from Republicans and Donald Trump
By KATELYN CARALLE and REUTERS
The hearing was called by Republican senators in the wake of Twitter stopping tweets linking to the story about Hunter Biden, and Facebook limiting its users’ ability to post it...
The Facebook chief executive told lawmakers that the FBI warned ahead of time to be on the lookout for hack-and-leak operations before the November 3 presidential election and Zuckerberg climbed Russia, Iran and China to attempt to use the social media platform to run disinformation campaigns.
‘One of the threats that the FBI has alerted our companies ... to was the possibility of a hack and leak operation in the days or weeks leading up to this election,’ Zuckerberg said.
‘So you had both public testimony from from the FBI, (inaudible) in private meetings alerts that were given to at least our company, I assume the others as well, that suggested that we be on high alert and sensitivity that if a trove of documents appeared that that we should view that with suspicion that it might be part of a foreign manipulation attempt,’ he continued.
Facebook argued it wanted to limit the spread of disinformation, as some of the claims in the article were unsubstantiated even though the Post was citing directly from the hard drive...
Trump’s tweets have been labeled several times by Twitter as ‘misleading’, but Republican Senator Cory Gardner pushed Dorsey on why they don’t also censor Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s tweets, which include Holocaust denial and calls for the ‘elimination’ of Israel.
‘So you would agree that someone who says the Holocaust may not have happened is spreading disinformation? Yes or no,’ the Colorado Republican pushed.
‘Uh yes,’ Dorsey said...
Dorsey argued that tweets are only flagged if they contain ‘misinformation’ or ‘misleading’ information regarding three different categories: ‘manipulated media; public health, specifically COVID; and civic integrity, election interference and voter suppression.’
‘We do not have policy or enforcement for any other types of misleading information that you’re mentioning,’ Dorsey said...
Wicker pressed Dorsey on why his company slapped warning labels on President Trump’s tweets about voter fraud but allowed tweets from Iran and the Chinese regime to stay up.
‘You routinely restrict the president of the United State. How does a claim by Chinese communists that the U.S. military is to blame for COVID stay up for two months without a fact check and the president’s tweet about the security of mail-in ballots get labeled instantly?’ he asked.
‘The goal of our labeling is to provide more context, to connect the dots so people can have more information so they can make decisions for themselves,’ he said...

Biden voters (along with Antifa/BLM and Adbusters Canada, who claim they started Occupy Wall St. what a bunch of useful idiots they are):
26 Oct: Vanity Fair: Style: Whats Better Than Being Beyoncé and Jay-Z on a Boat in the Hamptons With, Well, Jack Dorsey?
Ah, the good life.
By Kenzie Bryant
Picture this: Youre the extremely well-decorated recording artist Beyoncé. Or youre the extremely well-decorated recording artist Jay-Z. Either way its summer, and youre summering in the Hamptons like you always do. Youve got your kids around you on a boat, and youre drinking Hamptons waterrosé!the good stuff. Youre on a small yacht (photos over here on Page Six). Or an oversized speedboat. You know the difference between those two things because youve spent a significant amount of time on the open seas. Isnt that nice? Gosh, cant you practically feel the sun on your face as youre explaining the difference between a small yacht and a large speedboat to your children?
And, well, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is there. Hes kind of looming, serving the second coming of Rasputin in his preferred ensemble of mostly black clothing. Its not his fault. He just has a thing for letting the facial hair go and also Rick Owens. Hes wearing jeans on this boat. Full jeans in August, famously the dog days of summer, in the Hamptons. Youre not letting it bother you because of the aforementioned boat, rosé, kids, et cetera, but you do trade a quick look with your significant other, who is wearing board shorts and a Tommy Bahamatype top because, well, this isnt his first rodeo.
And that is the good life, huh? Being on that enormous speedboat and/or small yacht with your friend, I guess, CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey. In the Hamptons. During a pandemic. Whats better than that? I could not tell you.

Bravo to Sen Johnson for forcing Dorsey and Zuckerberg to deny receiving any indication that the story was part of a Russian misinformation campaign.
Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is turning out to be a GEM! He was a little rough around the edges to begin with, but as a self-made Millionaire (maybe more?) he really doesn’t give rat’s rump about p*ssing off anyone.
Very Trump-Like, actually.
Please! Let America hatch a whole BUNCH of these guys, post-Trump! We’re going to need them!
Tap dancing as fast s they can...both Dorsey & Zuckerberg.
