The latest numbers from the CDC reveal hospitals have been counting patients who died from serious preexisting conditions as COVID-19 deaths. One Americas Pearson Sharp has more, as the CDC counts over 51-thousand patients who actually died from heart attacks, as opposed to the coronavirus.

Sorry to hear about your son.
There is also such a thing as joint causation, where neither the virus nor the preexisting condition alone would have been enough to cause death. Too complicated for Fauci or CDC.
C19 is the greatest lie and greatest scam in American history.
Underlying cause of death in that case would be cancer. Immediate cause of death would be whatever issue was caused by the medication. The underlying and immediate causes are listed separately on the death certificate along with any conditions that complicated survival.
The UCOD is the disease or injury which initiates the chain of events leading directly to death. Patient develops prostate cancer -> given medication to treat prostate cancer -> dies from side effects.
I’m sorry for your loss. The reporting is normal and straightforward. It’s not there to mislead or “cook the books”. It’s there to provide a complete picture of what happened to each person who is deceased.
“Did they count those deaths as BOTH, or
COVID-19 alone?”
I think they count both. The best way to determine the impact of Covid is to look at the total deaths (all deaths) for a year then compare that total to the years past. If you see a big increase you know Covid had a big impact.
They aren’t.
Last year flu season began a little early. There’s always some variation. Look at the last 5 years and this year’s numbers are normal. Outside of flu season (typically October to March), flu cases drop dramatically. During the summer, there are fewer than 10 cases a week in the entire US. That happens every year. But there’s some variation in exactly when flu season begins and ends. Last year started early. This year it’s been picking up the past couple weeks. We’re up to 121 confirmed flu cases since the end of September. That’s typical.

Hospitals were given $13,000 for each Covid-19 death from the federal government. So, there was an incentive to list it as the cause of death.
Gotcha. Yes I get it, he would not have been on that medication if he had not had cancer.
On the other hand I had a great-uncle who chewed snuff for most of his adult life. When he passed away in Upstate New York at age 94 the state listed “tobacco use” as cause of death.
Little known fact... Oliver Stone original went with COVID over the magic bullet...
“How do you explain Flu numbers being down 90% across the nation?”
They claim the lockdowns and social distance had an effect on the flu causing the numbers to drop.
The number for flu-infected is only counted if they test positive for the flu. A lot of doctors’ offices did not check for flu they were lockdown for business, only seeing medically necessary cases.
Flu does not kill unless you have health issues.
I had the flu a couple of times, I never went to the doctor to get tested. I know what the symptoms are and they are different than Covid. I often wonder how many people never see a doctor for the flu.
If you have the flu, would you want to take a chance to see a doctor with all the hysteria around Covid?
I imagine a lot of people just rough the flu out without testing to confirm it.
Can you see how they are revving up the number of reported cases right before the election...?
I think is backfiring because the Libs and Blacks are deathly afraid...
thanks good info
Hospitals don’t fill out death certificates; people do. And anyone forging those documents would be committing medical malpractice and fraud. That person would be risking their medical license, their career, and prison time.
If your boss came to you and told you to forge government documents and risk everything, would you do it? Or would you say no and possible whistleblow on them for even asking? Yet we’re supposed to believe that thousands of medical professionals around the country have chosen to violate professional ethics, risk their medical licenses, risk their careers, risk going to prison, and never working in their chosen profession again because their boss told them to commit fraud to help out the hospital’s books a few percentage points?
There are 6,146 hospitals in the US. If half the deaths were falsified documents, those hospitals would each get a whopping $250,000 out of it. If any of them get caught, people are going to prison, licenses are being revoked, and all the money is getting clawed back from the hospital. Even the HOSPITALS wouldn’t risk that. Let alone the individuals who would have to do the dirty work.
This conspiracy theory is nonsense.
Half a million deaths in the US every year are attributed to tobacco by the CDC but your uncle illustrates that the CDC exaggerates this as well. Is anyone wanting to close the economy down until people stop smoking?
If your brother-in-law had been treated at MD Anderson, he would have had the surgery. They don’t care what the CDC says.
Floyd died from a drug overdose.
After the election and Trump is re-elected we will see studies come out saying the deaths from covid were overstated.
Indeed. That is why I ride very carefully.
I DO NOT want to be a COVID statistic by crashing my bike!
Besides. It is a valuable antique, and so am I.
