Off the subject a bit. I’m a huge Rush fan and daily listener, but must have missed something. I thought Rush was taking every other week off because of treatments, and I’ve noticed for the past 3 weeks he’s been on air and not taking time off. Maybe I missed an announcement about a change in his treatment schedule. Just wonder if you or anyone has sny information. I just hope and pray he hasn’t stopped his treatments. Thanks so much.

Rush has signed off for the day. The special with the President from last week is airing right now. He’s going to try to come back Monday.
Today does not sound like a good day. He said he would do his best to be back Monday.

Hmm, I didn't hear him offer an explanation for leaving early. Did say "try" to be back Monday? More/different treatment?

That’s what I was afraid of, but it’s a bit strange there has been absolutely no mention of what’s going on. Not that he owes it to any of us, but I’m sure he knows we are all aware of this change.

Me too.
I’ve long held that taking a large number of calls, whether it’s Friday or not and long before he fell ill, was a sign of being distracted or eager to get on with the day or the weekend.
The callers may be good, intelligent people but we aren’t all that interested in them especially when it frequently veers into personal anecdote.
I was listening, not watching, and thought he sounded like he was in tears, and that he was going to say more, but changed his mind...
