Combined Early Voting - DEMs lead by 390,115
Here are the counties starting IPEV today as noted by Coop.
Bay (IPEV ends 11/3)
Glade (ends 10/31)
Gulf (ends 11/3)
Hamilton (ends 10/31)
Suwanee (ends 11/1)
Union (ends 10/31)
Walton (ends 10/31)
Nice.
Miami-Dade and Saratosa numbers should be pushed out in about 10 minutes. They are looking good.
Fair enough. Nicely done!
Awesome!!!
Theres a better than average chance that we hit our 294,000 number by Monday given our rate of IPEV. Numbers are looking real good overall.
My son and I voted early in Orlando Thursday evening. The line at one location was so long it would have taken 2 hours to get to the booth. We drove to another and got in line. That took almost an hour.
One problem in Florida is the number of constitutional amendments on the ballot. I’m sure some people are reading those for the first time and take an inordinate amount of time filling out their ballots. I didn’t vote by mail because I want to see my ballot being scanned into the machine.
I would recommend that any Florida voter vote early because of the delays which will probably be horrific on election day.
This gap may largely disappear this weekend as the remaining Republican counties begin early voting as our people will bring their mail ballots to the polls in these counties.
Good news again today.
What keeps anyone from going from place to place and voting multiple times? Inquiring minds want to know.
what did momma say?
Referencing Speedy’s 1st comment. Do feel like we’re running up and down the field. Just don’t want to pull a hammy
You must have an official ID to vote in Florida (drivers lic., or state issued id). They scan this information into the computer which then issues you a coded/numbered ballot, which is the one that your precinct would use on election day with the particular state rep and senate races for your district. It is all strictly controlled, which I applaud.
I, my wife, and my son voted early at the local library on Thursday. We would never vote by mail/absentee unless we couldn’t get to the polls. We vote straight Repub....
NC Rep VBM return rate is only 2.5% behind. FL Reps can certainly match their NC brethren
You must not be a Florida resident. This is a big no-no if you are registered "R".
Yes it makes us all happy. Now come on Broward REPs.
Florida runs a tight election process. You WILL get caught and go to jail. You also need an ID which is scanned into the system.
Why are we high-giving over Miami and Broward? Because 2020.
I think they closed 2 points on the advantage map in the last day. At 3.80 currently. Not sure they process any VBM on Saturday/Sunday. If they dont, we might have a shot at turning Broward.
