“Conservative” Rat incumbent. No Republican ran for the seat in 2012 or 2016 but Trump and Romney carried every country in the district. This rat was previously in the state house and has never had an opponent.
The Dem incumbent, Bruce Maloch, got a 68% Conservative rating from the ACU for 2019. It’s baffling why he doesn’t just switch parties. Certainly little reason staying a Dem in the AR legislature anymore. The GOP will be the majority party for the foreseeable future.
