Former Vice President Joe Biden is promising that, if elected, he would urge state and local governments to issue mask mandates nationwide.
The Democrat nominee, who has shifted on his support for a federal mask mandate, told supporters in Delaware on Friday that it was vital for the government to implement a “national strategy to position our country to finally get ahead of this virus.” As part of the strategy, the former vice president promised not only to get a spending bill, that deals with both the economic and public safety aspects of the novel coronavirus, through Congress by January, but also to push for comprehensive mask mandates.
“I’ll go to every governor and urge them to mandate mask-wearing in their states,” he said. “If they refuse I’ll go to the mayors and county executives and get local masking requirements in place nationwide.”
Biden added that his administration would “mandate mask-wearing in all federal buildings and all interstate transportation” since “masks” have been proven to “save lives.”

That’s true. It’s the mask issue that separates the men from the boys, and the Christians from those who fear eternity.
I am a supporter of masks but only in voluntary basis and only in indoor settings where there is poor ventilation and you are in the room for more than 10 to 15 minutes. I recognize that the mask’s purpose is not to protect me from others but, if I knowingly or unknowingly have it, the mask helps to reduce the risk of me spreading the virus. Of course, the mask has to be worn and cleaned properly. And, the mask has to be used with all of the other protective health measures.
As such, I am not supportive of Biden’s mandatory proposal at all.
Even Joe Biden knows he cannot mandate anything.
And the follow up question no one asks Joe is that with all of his “rapid testing”, what comes next. If you test positive, are your movements restricted? Are you forced to stay home? Do you have to prove that you are clean before getting on a plane? Entering the post office?
And if you not take the test, are you shut out?
Will we wear gold stars on our clothes to show we haven’t been tested?

Comparable to global warming alarmism, desperate Democrats pirated a virus scare to try to seize more government power imo. Patriots need to remind the feds of their constitutionally limited powers in the upcoming election.

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.
I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket for 2020 elections.

The COVID virus averages around 100-110 nanometers in diameter. N95 masks filter out up to 3 microns in diameter.
COVID is around 30 times smaller than what N95 can filter.
It’s like trying to stop a ping pong ball from going through a basket ball net.
The fashionable cloth masks are even worse and are like throwing a handful of sand at a chain link fence. You think any of that sand is going to get through?
No, it makes you look like a bank robber.
I don’t think this helps him in the upper midwest where people have suffered these mandates for 7 months.

There’s a lot of us that advocate mask wearing, but respect it’s a personal choice.
I advocate everyone over 65 in an enclosed public space wear a mask. Better, avoid enclosed public spaces as much as possible.
And thoroughly wash your hands every time you enter your house.
Then these silly governments can end all lockdowns and mandates completely.
