Birds lay all over the ground in my hometown where they put this wind turbans up. People who live close make regular trips just to pick them up.

The windmill fields in Banning Pass, just west of Palm Springs, were called the migratory Cuisinart 20 years ago. It takes several full time employees to collect the carcasses. They apparently have a waiver to laws/regulations protecting endangered species.
