All I can say for Rush is 4 more years!! 4 More years!! And in 4 years we will ask for 4 more years for Rush and after those 8 years we will hope they have a cure for his type of lung cancer. So hang in there Rush.
The five year survivability rate is in the very low single digits, and ultimately quality of life is the main goal.
That’s nice of you to say but it is of course not realistic.

My mother died of a rare lung cancer just about a year ago. This form of cancer mimicked pneumonia which they treated as such. They removed half of her left lung and the results of the biopsy showed this rare cancer. After months of treating her for pneumonia (which it wasn’t) it was too late.
I imagine Rush is going through some of the same things. I listen to him almost every single day and have since his early days. I pray for Rush as he will be surely missed by millions..
