when he was seated. He just did what some judges do, went
down for the count over and over...

Reagan gave us Sandra Day O’Conner.

Some judges look good up front, and then embarrass you over
and over and over and...

I’m no fan of Bush. It is what it is.

You are right. Until Trump almost all nominees were a compromise with the RHINOs pushing those that were not really conservative for those who could have an easy confirmation. They were, and in some cases too RHINO and weak to realy fight for a good justice, thus we get the Roberts, Sanders and others that turn liberal on the bench.
As far as Roberts, he never fails to disappoint and typically uses the most convoluted reasoning to support his positions. Be interesting to see this one. It will doubtless be steep in liberal theology.
