Not optimistic about beating cancer perhaps… But eternally optimistic about his place with Jesus Christ in eternity.

Given the seriousness of the stage 4 diagnosis, he just said he didn’t expect to make it to October 1. The first two treatment regimens didn’t work; the third did and it was put on hold until this last MRI when it showed some progression again.
