President Trumps supporters are so enthusiastic that thousands upon thousands of them greeted the commander in chief in the deep-blue state of California on Sunday, according to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
Supporters lined the streets for miles, McEnany said on Twitter, as the president drove toward the home of Palmer Luckey, the co-founder of Oculus, for a fundraising event in Newport.
Thousands upon thousands lined for miles along our motorcade route in CALIFORNIA to cheer on President @realDonaldTrump!!!!! she said.

‘Thousands Upon Thousands’ Welcome Trump in...California
This is great, but will they also be smart enough to vote for him?
I agree! I’ve lived here all my life and watched the state change but not the people I know. I think a big problem with this state is voter apathy. Too many people just don’t get out and vote. Many times a proposition will be voted in and the liberals will find a judge who deems it unconstitutional and knock it down.
We also have Gerrymandering. My district was a strong conservative district. Now it’s liberal because the lines have been redrawn like puzzle piece. Why vote if you don’t like any of the choices. And don’t forget the proposition that passed allowing the two highest vote getters to run in the general election. So we’ll have two dems running against each other.
Who cares about the popular vote?
Only the Electoral Collage matters.
California used to be very red long ago, never again alas!

2/3 of the state is red. LA, San Francisco and Sacramento are the cancers. More Republicans in CA voted for Trump than any other state. There are a lot of us here, especially in Northern CA.
It’s not Newport. It’s Newport Beach.
That is impressive for the locale. I guess.
Better let the author know.
I was one of them...but left the State in 98.
And I don't understand your last sentence....
FWIW-
Sorry....
Sorry....
What's not to understand about the last sentence? I'm Liberal in my Philosophy. Is that OK with You? S/
Most definitely.
No sweat...
But Corona is not a suburb of the City of Riverside. It's a city in Riverside County.
Corona is like 4 hrs from L.A. on some day's....LOL. Shoot prolly more since I've not lived in SoCal for 22 years now....
Only because they use it as a talking point. It would be nice to take that away from them.
“And dont forget the proposition that passed allowing the two highest vote getters to run in the general election. So well have two dems running against each other.”
And did you notice how they worded that proposition? It was so manipulative. Literally did not talk about party or primaries, just “don’t you think the two highest vote getters should be on the ballot”.
