I did find this on another website. Seems like Rudi sat on this for 10months.

he shop owner claims he told the federal government about it, and they seized the laptop and hard drive in December 2019. But he claims he copied the hard drive first and provided it to Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Months later, somehow, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon (who was indicted on fraud charges in August) learned of the hard drive and told the Post. Finally, Giuliani provided the hard drive to the New York Post last Sunday, after having apparently kept it under wraps for about 10 months.

Thanks Rudi for sitting on it until now. WTH if true he held it for 10mos.

Because Rudy knew he had to wait until after Labor Day before people would begin paying attention to the campaigns. He also knew that the Dems seem to ALWAYS come out with their own “October Surprises” so he needed to safe this bullet until the last possible moment. Besides, he needed to make sure that he could catch the mainstream media completely by surprise otherwise they would have had months to play defense (as they’re scrambling to do now with the help of Big Tech) for the Biden campaign. Now its a scramble and the election is shifting (by the day) on whether Biden is fit (both physically and ethically) to be President. Up until this week, he has been completely shielded by EVERYONE! Now let’s see what happens....

The timeline I heard in Rudy’s recent video is that the shopkeeper, after giving it to the FBI, waited 4 or 5 months and never heard back.
At that point shopkeeper started offering hard drive copies to various Republicans, no one got back to him except for Rudy.
Rudys lawyer went down there for a week to assess if taking the copy was legal, which it was.

It seems that if anyone was sitting on it it was the FBI, not Rudy.
