The timeline I heard in Rudy’s recent video is that the shopkeeper, after giving it to the FBI, waited 4 or 5 months and never heard back.
At that point shopkeeper started offering hard drive copies to various Republicans, no one got back to him except for Rudy.
Rudys lawyer went down there for a week to assess if taking the copy was legal, which it was.
It seems that if anyone was sitting on it it was the FBI, not Rudy.
I heard he reached out to Mike Lee who never said a word or did anything about it. Sad. But he doesn’t like Trump because he attacked Romney.
