“This store owner waited for the FBI to act when realizing they were going to again cover things...”

The extensive coverage of the store owner in the Daily Mail today quotes him at length. He said he was fearful for his life and mentioned Epstein and Seth Rich by name. He joked that he didn’t want to die. So he made a backup copy and delivered the information to Giuliani.

A lot of things don’t add up about the sudden appearance of the laptop data in Giuliani’s hands. The store owner said that Hunter came to his shop to get the three computers repaired.

Q: Why not just destroy them and buy new ones?
A: Hunter is a stupid person and probably didn’t have the data backed up on other media.

Q: Why was the data on the laptop(s) not encrypted. “FileVault” on the Mac is extremely easy to use.
A: Hunter is a stupid person and probably doesn’t know about FileVault.

Q: Hunter lives in LA. How did he get to the obscure repair shop?
A: Curious.

Q: Hunter left the computers at the repair shop for MONTHS. The owner says he called Biden several times to get them to retrieve their property.
A: Hunter is a stupid person and, being drugged-up, probably forgot he took the in for repair.

Q: Hunter chose an obscure repair shop. Why not go to Apple?
A: Maybe he thought he could keep this out of the public eye by using an obscure shop?

Q: Hunter no doubt has “people” or operatives to run errands like computer repair for him. That would disguise his identity.
A: Hard to say why he didn’t use his gophers for this errand.

Q: Why would the shop owner look at the customer’s data?
A: Curiosity knowing the owner’s reputation? This is curious.

Suggest that Hunter did not drop off 3 computers to get them repaired. He dropped them off to lose them as he was already feeling some heat likely from the paternity suit in Arkansas. What better way to hide evidence than leaving it at a repair shop figuring that once repaired and not called for, the shop owner would let the computers sit on a shelf for years. Reminds me of a friend who owned a pawn shop. He had items in pawn for over 20 years. As long as the interest is paid on the loan, the item is hidden from anyone, safe and secure.

Re: Lackey - most people use their full name for their user ID on a Mac. Showing up to a Mac repair shop with a laptop in someone else’s name can be a problem and set off legal alarms.

Re: FileVault - People are stupid and even today don’t think about protecting their files on their computers. Heck, far too many still think “Password” is a good password. You have to enable FileVault - and one valid major problem with FV and other OS level encryption systems is that if you have a hardware failure and don’t have a backup elsewhere, your data is gone.

Re: Apple - If an Apple depot tech discovers evidence of major crimes in the course of repairing the laptop, they’re contractually obligated to report it. They don’t actively snoop, but if you do something dumb like leave evidence in plain view on the desktop, they’re going to see it. Same with many other brands’ service depots. Many pedophiles have been busted when their broken equipment is sent in for repair and the evidence of their crimes is discovered.

Re: Looking at data - I work as an IT consultant. If a customer leaves a computer with me for service, ghosts me and doesn’t come back, I reserve the right to look through their data for information to allow me to try to recover on my invoice for services rendered. It’s in my service agreement and it’s a common enough clause.

The real story is the FBI sitting on this. They had the hard drive and did nothing. This is not going to be easy to explain. Wray and Barr’s asses are now on the chopping block the more Gulliani reveals. Now if Trump declassifies all the Obama crap, its feesible he could destroy the entire deep state.
