Twitter executives have joined with those at Facebook to institute wide-ranging censorship policies targeting political posts they say falsely claim a win for any candidate. The embattled social media company announced Friday that it would add labels to posts that claim a pre-mature victory for any candidate and remove posts they believe interfere with the election process.
Vijaya Gadde, whose title reads Legal, Policy and Trust & Safety Lead, and Kayvon Beykpour, a Product Lead for Twitter and co-founder or Periscope, announced the draconian changes on the official Twitter blog:
People on Twitter, including candidates for office, may not claim an election win before it is authoritatively called. To determine the results of an election in the US, we require either an announcement from state election officials, or a public projection from at least two authoritative, national news outlets that make independent election calls. Tweets which include premature claims will be labeled and direct people to our official US election page.
Tweets meant to incite interference with the election process or with the implementation of election results, such as through violent action, will be subject to removal. This covers all Congressional races and the Presidential Election.
Holy moly @twitter went full fascist today. This is the day weve been warning about that Democrats said we were crazy for warning about. Make no mistake this is election interference from social media to help the Democrats.

Great to have loving foxes to watch over our nations hen houses.
They need to be FLOODED with posts to the degree they just give up
So, why are they not utilizing them?
You know what needs to be invented? A LinkedIn-type social media platform for elected officials.

Fortunately, Twitter and Facebook don’t control talk radio or Rush or Levin. And they account for less than 0.01% of the internet. Their attempts to steal the elections for Slow Joe will fail, just like their attempts to steal the 2016 elections for Hilary Clinton failed. There are literally thousand of conservative sites out there including FR.
Yep. I was actually suspended from posting anything for 30 days because I uttered an obvious tongue-in-cheek comment to a leftist on a website that Id see them at the polls on November 4. I was told that I was spreading misinformation related to an election and that it was against community guidelines. I just had to laugh.
The Republicans are slow-walking any type of reforms:

I guarantee if Biden is ahead at the end of Nov 3 they will drop this policy immediately. The theory of their virtue signaling is that by censoring projections they will allow themselves to imagine that the popular vote can somehow override the electoral vote. This should be known based on key swing states fairly quickly barring massive irregularities in the mail in ballots. Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania will be the tells. Michigan is a toss up leaning to Biden.
If even these states are too close to call then we will need massive amounts of lawyers, guns, and money to save the election from a Democrat fraud takeover.
Silicon Valley, CA Tech Companies are all in with the attempt to steal this election and, because of rules passed decades ago to protect the infant industry that never was modified to keep up with the ever-changing landscape they are protected in their actions and they understand this very well.
And, they know with a Dem controlled House they have nothing to worry about.
How about people just stop using them and delete their accounts?
Makes me glad I never signed up for any of them.
I’m not on either however if linked and or doing a search for info I can go there. Just don’t ever post anything.
FR is the only social media I do. Don’t have time otherwise.
On Nov 4th, the Trump administration should institute rules that obliterate the section 230 exemptions for any online company that exercises editorial control over speech. If they are to act as conduits, then editorial functions immediately converts the companies to publishers, open to lawsuits as any other publisher.
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are number 3, 4, and 5 on the internet, after Google and YouTube, so you might want to recheck your numbers.
The AssPress has went off the deep end over the past 4 years and they are responsible for a lot of the “calls” that are made on election night.
Faux News has also went all in on Never-Trumpism, so I fully suspect that the MSM will be playing games with the “projections” on election night.
This is a big issue in Florida. Keep in mind that the Panhandle of Florida is in a different time zone than the rest of the State. I can see the MSM immediately calling Florida early for Biden in the hopes that it will discourage people in the panhandle from voting.
They played that game once in 2000. I am sure that they will try it again.
We need to get the word out not to believe any MSM calls and to ignore any “exit polls.” We should be broadcasting from the rooftops.
“Vijaya Gadde, Keyvon Beykpour”.
So many damn foreigners imported by Soros/Obama/Bush to REPLACE the population of the UnitedStates.
I LOVE Parler I dont even understand how twitter works and the people there are SCUM!!
Because too many idiots think that life cannot go on without Facebook..... Even people who don’t like Zuckerberg and all the censorship..... They think about Facebook the same way the Founding Fathers thought about government.... They think it’s a necessary evil...They’re addicted and don’t want to give it up.... Too many people built their businesses and social lives around this friggin website
Take the total number pf page views of all the billions of websites worldwide on the internet, add in the darkweb and compare it to the total number of page views of Twitter or Facebook per day and see what you get. The internet is vast and there are countless way of spreading any information you want.
