This is truly perplexing if this truly was a campaign rally featuring both people on the ticket in a purple state. I really want to dig and see if this was just a fundraiser or if it was going to be a campaign rally.

I mean there would have to be major concern, because if they can't get people to come out on a nice Sunday in early October , what makes them think they will be fired up enough to vote in November?

I guess I will put it this way. I did not care for Mitt Romney at all, but if he had come within 100 miles of me for an event, I would have gone. I just think there is a certain amount of Democrats that are not your everyday "Karen" full of vile hate for Trump. You need to get them out to polls as well, and it doesn't seem like there is any pressing effort to do that.
