The term “civil war” may not sound accurate, but the U.S. is involved in irregular warfare against the Communists and their allies in Beijing.
Calling them “brownshirts & fascists” is stupid, however.

I do not agree with you. What is happening is a civil war because near half of the voters support the democrat party and the democrat party supports these so called communists.
People exercising their franchise thus show their material support for the communists who are then actively attacking and undermining our county. These voters are active participants even if only for a few seconds in a voting booth or by writing a check to any democrat candidate.
Thus, civil war is an appropriate term. How the civil war is being fought (i.e. Irregular warfare) is a different question.
