Lafayette Man Receives Extra Misdirected Ballots For People Who Don’t Live At His Home

While there has been an increasingly sharp focus on vote-by-mail ballots in the November election, some voters in Contra Costa County are still sorting through voter rolls tainted by a case of voter registration fraud four years ago. “So, this whole street, there’s only three houses,” explained Lafayette resident Jack Shawn as he he gestured at other homes in his neighborhood. “I know everybody that has ever lived here and none of them are those people.”

Shaw has received his 2020 vote-by-mail ballots: a couple that he was expecting, and two more with names he has never seen before. “This is my ballot that I opened up,” said Shaw with his ballot in hand. “This is my daughter’s. And these two people I don’t know.”

KPIX took his questions to the Contra County County elections office. As soon as they heard about unexpected ballots, they had an idea of what was going on.

The last sentence of the article says this about the perp:

"The man charged in the 2016 case ultimately pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor after initially being charged with a felony."

“”The man charged in the 2016 case ultimately pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor after initially being charged with a felony.””

Konopasek (Registra) said the mystery ballots are probably the lingering aftermath of a voter registration fraud case from the last presidential election.

SLightly Off Topic:
Lafayette is a very nice, upper class town in the Bay Area.’They are close to Walnut Creek.
The town is only 10 miles from Oakland, (Flatlands)
but they are quite different. Lafayette has more in common with Silicon Valley than bigger East Bay cities.
I could never live there unless I shared a place.

Oakland has a small town similar to Lafayette, that would be
Piedmont, a little jewel of a town.
At least they were similar a few years ago.

We got and have always gotten our daughter's ballot and she hasn't lived here for over a decade. We could easily fill it out, sign it (like anyone's going to check) and mail it in. So could many others who get one for an ex-resident at their home.

Democrats continue to say fraud is rare, not widespread, as if that matters. A couple of districts in a couple of states could swing the electoral college count and win the presidential election.

Fraud doesn't have to be obvious, massive or common. It just has to be enough.

It’s going to be hard to differentiate Rat vote cheating from the usual run-of-the-mill govt incompetence.

Today I received a mass mailed “Application for an Absentee Ballot” addressed to my late father or current resident. It was from “Stronger Idaho PAC” which appears to be part of CampaignMoney.com whose top contributor is Michael Bloomberg with over $1.25 billion, number 11 is George Soros with over $58 million. These folks aren’t friends of ours. I immediately checked with the county elections office and made sure my dad’s voter registration was removed. A little surprised to see this in Idaho but I suppose I shouldn't have been. If you have a recently deceased relative, or know someone who has moved out of the area, make sure they are removed from the voter registration rolls.

No surprise. They sent a ballot in my name to my mother’s home. I haven’t lived there in decades.

Hey, there’s a solution.

For all the phony names of people getting ballots who don’t live there (happening all over the US) just send in some derelicts, homeless, illegal aliens and recently released prison inmates to actually live in the homes with people. Then there will be people to match the voting records. Fill in the ballots with straight Dem votes. Solved./s
