Whew !!
I was panicked ...... only 6 months left until becoming “elderly!”
So I have another 10 years, yay!
I remember how grandma’s used to wear what we called grandma shoes. They reached a certain age and started to dress the part.
Times have changed in a positive way when it comes to aging.

Yes they have.
My aunt is 78 and she knows how to use a tablet better than me :)
She still goes to the beach with friends in the summer, like she’s 18 lol.
My uncle, a great guy, died 25 years ago but she kept on trucking.
Still works 4 days a week but wants to retire at 80.
I won’t be surprised if in another 10 years “elderly” is considered 90 and above.
Medical strides and advances are occurring at a rapid pace.
