I asked bc I know this is a special election between McSally and Kelly and wondered if this seat ended sooner than the other senators (being SPECIAL).
So why would Lindsey lose his seat after 11/4? Isn’t he also good until January????? Can’t the SCOTUS vote carry on after 11/4? I am so confused.

Linda would lose his senate seat because he would have so thoroughly pissed off enough of his voters that they’d reject him.

Lindsey Graham loses, he will be in office until the next Congress convenes. The danger is if Lindsey loses, it also means the GOP will have lost the senate majority, thus their will to confirm Barrett It has to be done prior to 11-3 or not at all
