Linda would lose his senate seat because he would have so thoroughly pissed off enough of his voters that they’d reject him.
What I mean is: Why would Lindsey be vacated from his Senate seat on 11/4? Isn’t he in that seat until January, 2021? The SCOTUS vote could go on after the election and until January, 2021, right?
