President Trump’s cutting back on campaign commercials in some of the key Midwestern battlegrounds that helped him win the White House four years ago – and shifting resources to a bunch of crucial swing states further south.
The president’s re-election campaign has dropped roughly $2 million in ad reservations in Michigan and Wisconsin since last month, according to Advertising Analytics , Medium Buying, and Kantar Media’s Campaign Media Analysis Group , three leading ad tracking firms. Trump narrowly won the two states in 2016, breaking a quarter century long winning streak by Democrats.

From what I’ve seen of this new campaign team, the new campaign manager is trying to save money in an election that will be over in 3 weeks. He’s putting everything on the ground game.

I watched a twitter feed yesterday had a young black man out on the street in front of a pizza joint talking to his black neighborhood friends and registering them to vote telling them WHY Trump is better for them, telling them how actually racist the Dem party is AND showing them proof of their words on his cellphone!! He was doing a GREAT JOB Trump has people lime this EVERYWHERE across this country people out there face to face changing minds!! He asked these black community members WAS Trump a racist before he became POTUS, did you EVER think Trump was a racist before the media started screaming it at you!! Do you think Trump is a racist because he wants to close our borders so illegals are not taking your jobs!! Trump has a GREAT ground game out there changing minds, ads CANT do that!!
These two states he is likely to loose. Though he very well could take Minnesota. The Iron Range will likely put Minnesota in Trump’s column.

Seeing non-stop biden ads here in SE Wisconsin. It is ridiculous!
The ads are following the ground game. It is a focused effort with ads and rallies by Trump surrogates in key places in the state.
Another thing to look at is cash on hand and amounts raised by fundraising and donations. Figures campaigns have to disclose by law. The Biden campaign is out-raising and outspending the Trump campaign and it’s showing.
I think the reason for this is the House of Representatives. He can afford to push south for “coattail effect” because he has the Midwestern states locked up.
“First, if Trump was behind in Iowa or Ohio, states that he won in 2016 by 9 and 8 points, he would be DOUBLING his ad buys there. If Iowa and Ohio fall, Trump would be toast. So reallocating $$ out of Iowa and Ohio makes perfect sense. Obviously, the campaign feels that they are in a strong position in those states. IMHO, it is good news that Trump is dark in Ohio/Iowa.
Second, Trump absolutely needs FL, NC, GA, and AZ. Early voting is going on/starting in these states, and it is a good time to go pedal to the metal. They need to be cautious about GA, as there is a black senate candidate who will bring out more black vote than in other states, and GA has been trending blue. Also, we have 2 senate seats up in GA. To me, it is not surprising that they would reallocate money to protect the South. If they win these states, they only need 3 EVs for a 269-269 tie (Trump wins), which means any one of the following puts them over the top: Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, or PA.
Third, note they are not taking any ad money out of PA. PA is probably the state they have the best shot at winning in the Rust Belt, and a win there means that Trump could absorb losses in MI, WI, and AZ and still win.”
Sounds like a great analysis of the situation.
You can tell nothing by where Biden money goes. His money is pretty much unlimited, BLM ,The Rat Billionaires, entertainment, tech, Soros, China unlimited. He has so much he can send as a head fake.

Those two states have incumbent Republican Senate candidates that need a kick in the ass for lack of better terms. I’m pretty sure Trump is up in both of those states. If he is spending there, it is for coattail purposes. He can drag them across the finish line. Dems are also going to blow a ton of cash there in an attempt to pick up those seats.
Two (R) Senate seats in jeopardy are AZ and ME. If we lose those, we can offset those losses by an almost guaranteed win in AL and a “looking good” win in MI. Trump helping to preserve our seats in NC and GA makes life a little bit easier for us.
Finally, spending more in FL is always a good thing ... that state is almost always close. Always. There was only a 0.9% difference in 2012, and 1.2% difference in 2016. Trump *cannot* lose FL unless he has a straight flush and wins all of the rust belt swing states (MN, MI, OH, PA). Buying some insurance in FL is always a wise move for Republicans so far this century :-).
Remember we have to win the Presidency, keep the Senate, and win back the House. If the Republicans don’t screw things up, winning the Senate now will make it pretty difficult for the Pinkos to win it back over the next few years since they’ll have to defend more seats.
All in all, don’t panic. Use any nervous energy to help get out the vote! :-). Every time anyone is feeling doom or gloom, remember, it is the communists in the media making you feel that way!!!!!!!!! Do you want them to be living in your head rent-free??? I sure as hell don’t!!!

They are critical, but I don't trust any lamestream poll. Trump must have internal polling that shows he's way ahead in WI and MI. There's no reason he would cancel ads if it was neck-and-neck.
Well said and I agree. The campaigns know what is going on and where the election stands.
But in this case, winning the election is not the democrats plan. It is, I fear, to sow enough chaos to allow them to declare themselves the winners, to hell with the actual vote.

Normal people (thinking wishfully): "No, Trump's actually winning, we just KNOW it!!! Or at least he's losing by less than 14!!!"
We've been assured all along that the polls except for blessed ones such as Trafalgar, IBD/TIPP and Rasmussen (oops) are complete bullshit, and the only way to know what the tea leaves REALLY say is to watch what the campaigns DO.
They have their own polling, not available to the public, and it's critically important that those polls be accurate because the campaign's actions depend on that data.
Well, so much for that theory. Now we have to find another mystical crystal ball to tell us the "truth" about what's going on.

An average of the latest polling in Michigan and Wisconsin indicates Biden with a mid-single digit advantage over the president,
