Not if the media attacks on Trump about Covid are working.
He shouldn't have taken the joyride after being admitted to the hospital. It reinforced the perception that he hasn't been taking the virus seriously enough.

The only thing I can think of is for some reason Trump testing positive for the virus caused him to take a hit in the polls. Which would mean he could gain those 12 points back quickly if he shows he’s fully recovered and back on the campaign trail and ready to debate again. Just a theory, but I believe its just a temporary virus bounce for Biden. Maybe swing voters don’t like the uncertainty with a Presidential candidate being sick with Covid19.
The debate and Trump seemingly not taking his own infection seriously could be it.
Trump didn’t help himself in that debate. That turned a lot of people off.
