Very good point.
Good question. Sounds like 80,000 criminal offenses to me.
If that original provision still stands, this judge has no
choice but to block the checks.
She doesn’t make law. She is there to enforce the law as
long as it is Constitutional, and since these checks were
to help people get by who had suffered harm from the
situation, the prisoners don’t qualify on that alone.
Just my version of what the IRS will do if they choose. I’m pretty sure I’m still red flagged as evidenced by getting banned for the same stuff alternate accounts do NOT get banned.
State Treasuries grab any tax refund for child support.
Proof the power of the IRS can destroy a person for fighting back on taxation.
Sure. And it already goes to back child support and tax debt.
Not arguing, simply stating another point of view. Because they are getting it doesn’t mean they qualify. There are many cases of people getting it that don’t qualify. But yes, idiots did write the bill as usual.
That judge needs to be introduced to a disbarment proceeding! Now!
Now if we can find a way to have the states stop charging so much interest on back child support - it keeps on growing even after the original debt is fully satisfied.
