Well, this is interesting . very interesting
U.S. Attorney John Bash, from the Western District of Texas, was given the responsibility by AG Barr of looking into the illegal unmasking by Obama-era officials in July of this year. Not only the illegal unmasking of General Flynn, but more extensive unmasking. Today Bash announced his abrupt resignation. Abrupt because he announced today, and he leaves on Friday. However, he does say he informed Barr last month:
SAN ANTONIO, Tex. U.S. Attorney John F. Bash announced today that he will resign from the Department of Justice on Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11:59pm. U.S. Attorney Bash issued the following statement:
This Fridayeight years to the day after I first joined the Department of JusticeI will step down as United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas.
Last month I accepted an offer for a position in the private sector and informed the Attorney General of my decision. I tendered formal letters of resignation to both the President and the Attorney General this morning.
I am grateful to the President, Senator John Cornyn, Senator Ted Cruz, and the other members of the United States Senate for the opportunity to serve the people of Texas. I am also grateful to former Counsel to the President Donald F. McGahn II, who gave me steadfast support throughout the nomination and confirmation process, and to former Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli, Jr., for first bringing me into the Department in 2012. And I am honored that during my tenure as U.S. Attorney, the Attorney General has seen fit to entrust me with significant responsibilities and to appoint me to his Advisory Committee.

Remember how they praised Comey?
Remember what they said about Mueller?
Then they used the same exact statements about Durham.
Youd think people would catch on.
My thoughts exactly!
Standard procedure when the shtf is about to start.

Initially this was my take, but taken in the whole, nope.
This guy got unmasked himself, either Strvoke-like texts/calls/convo, and Barr sent him packing.
Occam's says it might be as ugly as making Bobo's side aware of the investigation evidence. Not just career suicide but prosecutorial malfeasance, goodbye law license. And for a lawyer under 40 with no other discernible skills? He would be permanently %*@|#d.
The evidence for that? Any skilled US Attorney would have had staff directly leak the white shoe firm that had hired him away into the private sector. Doesn't exist. Not a single soul on Twitter has even a hint of it.
Had a horse head in his bed...
Kicking the can down the road once again. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Provably, there is no will in the DOJ to prosecute criminal Democrats to the benefit of Donald J. Trump. They all hate him and want him gone. It’s that simple.
I trust William Barrs dedication to honest justice.
LOL. That’s funny. Do you write comedy for a living? Good stuff there.

You are dreaming. The proof is in the pudding: Barr has been AG near TWO YEARS and not a single Democrat has been prosecuted. One dirty FIBBER pled out. He was never indicted by a grand jury. More Trump supporters have been prosecuted by the “Trump” DOJ than criminal Democrats. Far more.
My bet is on Tom Fitton being correct about Durham. Been saying it for some time...
DC cannot uncover any DC crime, just full book at opponents of deep state.
Surely there is an AUSA assigned to the case and continues the investigation. The case should not live or dies according the USA staying or leaving. The AUSA’s always do the heavy lifting and they are career attorneys. If this was in WDC, I would worry. But a Texas DOJ office should be OK. Or am I dreaming???
Gonna be a pretty good week, I believe.
Last month I accepted an offer for a position in the private sector...
I read the article; is that quote in it?
Hmmmm... no likee!
He could have gotten a job as a law professor. They hire terrorists so a disbarred attorney wouldn’t have a problem.
That first quote was from the article for this thread.
