There have been a few. But Covid is a strange virus. The US re-infection was worse than the initial case.
I agree, there are so many that are posessed.

This was discussed a few nights ago on FR. So far there have been only 3 purported instances of people being re-infected, as reported in the scientific literature. There have been over 30,000,000 cases reported. Do the math.

The odds of getting sick from a particular coronavirus after your body has previously built up an immunity to it are very slim - but not zero. There is also the fact that a virus can mutate and you could be susceptible to the variant - also unlikely.
The point is, the President’s immunity from Covid19, whether perfect or not, is WONDERFUL news for the campaign, and you managed to throw cold water on it - as you are wont to do.
My “cup half-empty“ comment had to do with your constant pessimism on these threads.

I don’t think Herman Cain ever left the hospital after he checked in.
Also he was a stage four cancer survivor who I’m sure had a long list of co-morbidities that Trump doesn’t have.

Nice. If I was able I would have gone. I think this really helped president Trump feel loved it’s great.
He is not in that category. He showed symptoms, and at least twice in less than a week, needed O2. I can understand good reasons why he may not want to stay as long as the docs want. Still, it seems quick. I hope he can rest enough at the WH.
He is now able to campaign without a mask or fear of spreading or acquiring this virus.

Also they can monitor Trump’s viral loads by counting the PCR cycles it takes for the virus to be detected. I doubt they would let him go if these cycles weren’t declining.

I wouldn’t think they’d announce a hard/fast time for security reasons. I know 6:30 is the announced time, but I’m guessing he might leave earlier/later so anyone planning something will be “off”. Then again, what do I know? :-)
Mild symptoms.
Almost all who show mild symptoms and take swift action to stop it, recover, as Trump has.

6/24: Attends Trump rally
7/2: Tests positive for Covid-19
7/10: Says he’s improving
7/15: Says his doctors seem happy
7/27: Says he’s really getting better
7/30: Dies
