Who and where is this Direct Energy Weapon shooting from and which country owns it?
Maybe the Evil Romulans with their cloaked ships are orbiting the Earth and are using their energy Disruptors to create these earthquakes?
I know that its not the Vulcans as they may be a pain in the A$$ to deal, with but they have no such warlike intentions against Earth.
