For months now, he has consistently played up initial failures by Beijing in controlling the pandemic to blame China for the global repercussions -- particularly the catastrophic effects the virus has had in the United States, where it has killed more than 200,000 people and infected upwards of 7.3 million, including the President himself. Trump's rhetoric has angered Beijing, which has in turn highlighted Washington's own mishandling of the virus through state media and in official comments. Many countries closer to China and exposed to the virus earlier have nevertheless handled it far better than the US, and most experts are critical of how Trump has responded to the pandemic.

Intentionally sending a deadly virus over here and killing 200,000 Americans is, IMHO, an act of war. Certainly it’s enough to declare China our enemy.
If we declare them our enemy, then, can’t the President restrict companies from doing business there? That seems to work for places like Iran and Cuba. If China doesn’t like it, they can go suck a chopstick.
We can buy cheap garbage from other countries, or, better yet, start making things HERE again instead of sending all of our wealth out of the country just so a bunch of traitorous rich people can get even richer.
It’s long past a Chinese BBQ.
[I dont think there are any Governor Cuomos and their ilk in Singapore, South Korea, or Japan. Thats why theyve handled this better.]

Note that we have large numbers of blacks and Hispanics who don’t follow basic health precautions. Yet our ratio of deaths to infections is running at under 3% vs 10% for Europe. China’s neighbors are in a class of their own with respect to body weight - they’re closer to African BMI’s. Re treatment of sick people, we are kicking Europe’s ass, but you won’t hear CNN talking about it.
And the Chinese communist government took all the right steps to isolate and limit the spread of the virus in China, but did not prevent it from spreading to foreign nations. They closed the roads and trains but not the airports. That was a decision they made, knowing that COVID-19 would create chaos and destruction around the world.
God forbid anything serious happens to President Trump, but the situation with respect to China just moved from bad to potentially the basis for military action against China.
It might be necessary to simply seal off China from the rest of the world. I am sure our military could sink every container ship that left a Chinese port without much effort at all.
President Xi should be doing everything in his power to ensure President Trump's continued health.
Meanwhile China mocks the fact that Trump got the virus..need anymore proof that China CREATED this virus in a lab to destroy the world..they know with Biden he will lick their asses and call it ice cream..take China and nuke them..for what they did to the world
Excellent point. The U.S. recovery rate from closed cases (recovered patients / [recovered patients + deaths]) is about 95.7%, and steadily increasing over time. (Source: world-o-meters).
“Many countries closer to China and exposed to the virus earlier have nevertheless handled it far better”
Well that’s ridiculous. Maybe we stop treating CNN like it is a legitimate news source?
Thanks very much for that link. Bannon knows what’s going on.
It’s sad that most American Catholics don’t see what’s happening.
Amen
hmm. Is placing seals on doors and welding others closed, phone tracking leading to arrests and disappearances of citizens, limiting shopping to once a week or less, and murder of doctors, ‘handling the virus far better’?
The only red axis countries, who have largely homogeneous populations, that are even close to being honest about their numbers is Russia, admitting a very conservative 1.2M cases. Iran reports eight times the number of cases China claims of themselves.
India, with 6.5 million cases is catching up to the US with over 75K new cases presenting a day. Brazil is also on fire, with 45K new cases a day, totalling almost 5 million cases. Columbia, Peru, Spain, Argentina, Mexico and South Africa are all around 3/4 million, and France is now reporting over 12K new cases a day.
Out of all the countries, the US has the highest survival rate. Which is impressive considering we are far from a homogeneous population.
So China and their buddies, CNN, can stick their propaganda in their ear.
I am surprised how little coverage the Pompeo incident got.
Thanks Good information...
Didn’t he ignore the Pope and meet with people anyway?
Any story from CNN is a creative writing exercise with little attachment to reality.
Nicely done!

“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won’t” —General George S. Patton
I believe so, after first having said his piece in order to get uninvited—or something like that.
