Note that we have large numbers of blacks and Hispanics who don’t follow basic health precautions. Yet our ratio of deaths to infections is running at under 3% vs 10% for Europe. China’s neighbors are in a class of their own with respect to body weight - they’re closer to African BMI’s. Re treatment of sick people, we are kicking Europe’s ass, but you won’t hear CNN talking about it.
Excellent point. The U.S. recovery rate from closed cases (recovered patients / [recovered patients + deaths]) is about 95.7%, and steadily increasing over time. (Source: world-o-meters).
