Wouldn’t “micro” stamping be subject to quick wear from normal usage or even a quick swipe with a metal file? (Honest, it just felt a little rough when I was doing some maintenance so I fixed it)

Anyhow, they were able to retrieve the serial number....
That’s all I know about this.
A little valve lapping compound on the microstamp and good by microstamp! Or you can just buy a new part to replace the one with the stamp.
